1. Trim your wick before every burn

2. If your flame is high or your candle starts to soot that means your wick is too long 

3. Try to keep your candle out of a drafty area to prevent soot 

4. Avoid touching or moving your candle while it is burning

5. Avoid burning your candle for more than 4 hours
